Hi, I'm JD with CNET DL.com and this is a FL at WindowBlinds. This is a fantastic app for anyone who wants to give their desktop a complete visual makeover. With WindowBlinds, you choose an integrated theme that jazzes up the look of your start menu, taskbar, browser, and program windows. You'll pick from a starter stock or download more themes from www.WinCustomize.com, which conveniently save directly into the WindowBlinds app for easy selection. What sets WindowBlinds apart from other theme packs is a large community of theme designers and the well-laid out management app that lets you easily customize the look and feel of any theme. The trial download limits the application of some tweaks, but you'll still be able to see those menus. The licensed program lets you adjust the skin colors, fonts, and transparency. It also gives you free reign to select a set of navigation icons to replace theme defaults or to use as backup if the theme doesn't define that particular visual element. You'll be able to do the same thing with wallpapers, and actually, with individual applications, too. WindowBlinds' many options include a menu to single out an app for special treatment and tweak the appearance. This is definitely an advanced feature, but a good one to have. Finally, if you're interested in deeper editing or trying your hand at theme creation, WindowBlinds lets you edit themes in SkinStudio, a companion program by the same publisher. WindowBlinds costs about $20 and is available to try or buy from www.Download.com. I'm JD and this has been a FL at WindowBlinds.
