>> I'm Nichol Lee, Associate Editor for CNET.com and this is the new LG Vu from AT&T. It is a super sexy, full touch screen phone with an absolutely gorgeous 3-inch wide display here. There are the four shortcuts to the main menu, AT&T mobile TV and contacts list as well as the phone function right here. On the side you do get a dedicated camera key. The hold key locks down the screen from accidental presses, there's also the volume rocker and the charger jack right here. On the back there's a 2-megapixel camera, and located behind the battery cover is the microSD card slot. Now getting into the phone is actually pretty easy. All you have to do is use your finger and just tap and scroll through the menu like you would with the iPhone in fact. Dialing is pretty easy as well; the numbers are pretty big as you can see. There's also a haptic feedback which means the phone vibrates a little bit whenever we hit something to confirm the selection. The texting interface is pretty great. There's a full QWERTY keyboard which means we can turn it landscape mode and just hit away at the keys. The biggest feature of this phone is that it is one of the first phones to support AT&T Mobile TV which is AT&T's new live TV service; and that means that from the phone you can receive live television signals from ESPN, MTV, Comedy Central, all live directly to the phone itself without going in through the cellular airwaves. There is also an expandable antenna on top here to better receive the television signals. Other features of the phone here include a 2-megapixel camera, a full HTML browser which means you can just go straight on to the actual web and not a sort of fake mobile web; there's also Blue Tooth on here, stereo Blue Tooth, there's access to AT&T's services like cellular video, AT&T mobile music, which lets you download music over the air to the phone from Napster and E-Music; so it's overall a very full featured phone in a very slim and sexy package. The LG Vu will be available from AT&T for 299 dollars after a two-year service agreement. My name is Nicole Lee and this has been the LG Vu from AT&T.

LG Vu Review
Avg user rating
Very good
8.3
out of 10
The good: The LG Vu is a super sexy touch-screen phone with a 3-inch display and haptic feedback. Features include AT&T Mobile TV, HSDPA speeds, a 2.0-megapixel camera, a full HTML browser, and quad-band support.
The bad: The LG Vu's camera lacks flash, and there's a learning curve involved with the touch screen. Streaming video was a little choppy as well.
The bottom line: Despite a few quibbles with the touch screen, its full features and excellent performance make the LG Vu one of the hottest phones this year.
