>> The iPhone has Wi-Fi. Voip [assumed spelling] programs like Skype, allow you to make calls over the Internet.
>> So why can't you make free voip calls over the iPhone? Thanks to a program called Fring, now you can. You'll need to have Jailbreaked or Jail broken your iPhone. See our separate video on how to do that. It does violate your warranty. But if you've already done it to your iPhone successfully, here's how to install Fring. Go to the installer app and choose sources. Tap the edit button up in the upper right hand corner. On the next screen, tap add. Type in www.fring.com/iphone.xml and tap okay. You'll see a progress bar and the source will load. Go back to the install section, scroll down and choose Fring. Tap on that and choose install. Once you're done installing, just go back to the iPhone desktop, choose fring, and you'll have a dialer that'll allow you to make voip calls using Skype and other providers. That's it for this quick tip.
