>> Hi, I'm Kent German [phonetic], the senior editor here at www.cnet.com.
>> I'm here at CTIA 2008 in Los Vegas. I'm here to show you the Kyocera Mako [assumed spelling] S4000. This is one of the three phones that Kyocera has launched at the show today. It is sort of the middle range version of all the three. Colorful external display, you have a camera lens right above. Kyocera really wanted me to point at this speaker right here. They say it tested it very well in user testing, because it has kind of a retro mesh [assumed spelling] design. [inaudible] open up, you have a pretty, colorful internal display. Found it a little small for the phone's overall size. Felt it could be a bit wider, maybe a bit taller, just, you know, could [inaudible] bigger overall. Keypad buttons and navigation controls, they are flat with the surface of the phone. Very common on the thin phones, they typically do that. The other thing they have is you'll see they have little indentations right here, so you can easily reach in, open the phone like that. A couple nice design touches, but overall just a solid mid range phone. I'm Ken German.
>> This is the Kyocera Mako S4000.
