>> Hi, I'm Molly Wood from CNET.com here on the show floor at CES 2008. I'm taking a first look at the Belkin Flywire. This is a very promising product for anyone who wants to wall mount a television, and put components in a closet behind that television. Why? You don't have to cut a hole in your wall. This cuts the cord. You plug a receiver into the back of your television, you plug this transmitter into essentially any video source. It can connect via HDMI, component, composite, S-video, and it will wirelessly over the five gigahertz spectrum transmit your television content onto the television. Now they say it has a range of up to fifty feet, and it can go through walls, which means you can in fact put your components in a closet behind the television, you can put them almost anywhere in the room. They say the Belkin Flywire will be available in December of 2008.

It'll cost about five hundred or six hundred dollars, and it promises to tidy up your living room. At CNET.com I'm Molly Wood.
