>> Well folks we're at [inaudible] and we're also at a funeral today. The death of the CD is just about here, certainly in the car. I mean do you really want to carry discs around with what, ten songs on them? Maybe dozens if they're MP3? That's just not cool any more. One of the companies helping to shovel dirt on the compact disc is Parrot, and they're using this unit to do it, the RK8200. A completely solid state new kind of head unit. Check it out. You've got five inputs to take the place of what is typically a bunch of CDs. You've got A2DP, Bluetooth streaming, AUX in, the very basic connector, a USB dongle, an iPod adapter, and an SD card slot on the side of the face plate. On top of that you've got four channels of amplification, four channels at forty five watts a piece. Of course you've got a nice big color display, and that shows your track information. In this case we're looking at the tracks that are stored internally on the flash memory. And you've got a gig of flash, which is you know, what, three hundred songs, typically? You would take this face plate off, take it into the house for example, connect it via USB, you got a little mini USB connector there, and that's how you load it up. So if all the music is in these digital formats, what's inside if there's no CD drive? Well nothing. There's a nice little pocket, a little shelf where your music phone, or your iPod can live, and be right next to a couple of the connectors. Now this product comes out in Q two 2008, let's call it mid-year. Two seventy nine's gonna be the MSRP. And you'll find it at the typical types of channels that you'd find you know, head units in general, even though it's a very different kind of product. That's the RK8200 from Parrot.
