>> If it's a free Spyware anti Spyware app you're after, Spyware Terminator is a great choice. The experience begins with a setup assistance to walk you through installation. They're three setup types offered. The simple spyware detector that will remove threats, real time blocking for low maintenance coverage, and integration with the Clam Antivirus app to add another layer of protection. There's also an optional web security tool bar that does much of what other site rating apps will do by marking safe site green, and suspicious sites red. But this ones framed by the publisher's web search toolbar. Spyware Terminator's main interface is fairly intuitive. The system summary is for viewing the vitals and quick starting a scan. The other tabs along the top are for digging deeper into the program settings. [Inaudible] menu show an overview with extra navigations buttons on the left to get more glandular [assumed spelling]. In the spyware scan tab for instance, you can view scan reports and quarantine items. There's also access to utilities for analyzing files or restoring setting. One main feature that spyware terminator offers is real-time protection. This toolset keeps an eye on the executables for programs you install, and on the system locations most frequented by spyware before allowing them access to your computer. There's an additional tab for advanced settings, and more settings details for each tool. Know that the host intrusion prevention system must be activated in order to run clam AV guard. Other useful tools are the scheduler, which is find on the settings pane, and the immunizer, which promises to seal your computer from malicious code delivered through Firefox and Internet Explorer. Spyware Terminator will also scan your cookies and favorite separately, but only if you install web security guard. A separate program that rates websites and search results. As you can see, there's a fit bit of protection going on with this app. Remember that scan times vary based on how in-depth you go, and that full anti virus and anti spyware scanning can slow down your computer's performances.
