>> I'm Tom Merritt from CNET.com and here's a quick tip for speeding up Firefox when you're viewing a PDF. Now we all love the convenience of the Acrobat Reader plug in for PDF's, but have you ever noticed that laggy feeling after you view one in Firefox? Kind of feel it right here? Now, it happens with interesting PDF's too, not just tax forms. That's because Firefox doesn't unload the file until you quit the browser. Luckily, you can solve it with another extension. PDF download extension gives you three ways to open the file, locally in Firefox, or translated into HTML. Go to addons.mozilla.org, search for PDF download, scroll down to find the one by Dennis Remmandini [assumed spelling]. Click on that, install it, and restart your browser. Next time you click on a PDF, you'll get these options. That ought to make it faster. That's it for this quick tip, I'm Tom Merritt for CNET.com, speedy browsing to you. ^M00:01:01 [ Music ]
